Dr Sivitra Sivarajan was born in Singapore and began her academic journey in Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne. She later relocated to Perth, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from The University of Western Australia.
Dr Sivarajan commenced her professional career in Albany, WA, where she gained valuable experience in regional dentistry. Upon returning to Perth, she worked across both the public and private sectors, developing a broad clinical skill set with a strong focus on patient-centred care. Over time, her interest deepened in the areas of chronic facial pain and sleep-related breathing disorders, prompting her to pursue postgraduate studies.
She completed a Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management – Orofacial Pain) through The University of Sydney, receiving specialised training in the assessment and management of facial pain, temporomandibular disorders, and sleep-disordered breathing from a dental perspective.
An active member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Sivarajan is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly attends national and international training in Dental Sleep Medicine and Orofacial Pain. Her practice integrates clinical precision with empathy and innovation, delivering tailored, research-informed care that reflects best practices in dental sleep and pain management.
Dr Sivarajan has since gained vast clinical experience, and at The Snoring Clinic offers a comprehensive service including assessment of suitability for the treatment, offering a selection of clinically effective, comfortable and scientifically proven treatment options, fitting and aftercare. This specialized and customized approach to patient care means that our patients have a higher success rate with treatment.. We work closely with all of the Sleep Clinics, Respiratory and Sleep Physicians and ENT specialists in Western Australia. Your GP will also be kept updated with your progress.
